I wasn't big on these guys on record, but then I saw them live and that guitar tone translates *really* well. They gained a fan at that show, even if I still think they could trim some fat. zirtonic
Just when I thought my death plate was full, Exhumation plopped itself on top of the heap, right on top of my chicken parm.
The riffs and song structure of this album are just too good to dismiss it as "another standard death metal album." The songs are oldschool style Death metal, with slight thrash tendencies and even a hint of black metal. Songs are fast paced with pummeling riffs, yet the change-ups in tempo from time to time keep it interesting. Deron Baker
